Richard Michael Buck, 70, West Concord

Our beloved dad and grandpa passed away on Dec. 10 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by wife, Rhonda. He will be sadly missed by his children, Christina, Duane (Lisa) and Jessica (Mark); grandchildren, Issac, Xaiver, Max, Anton and Gus; other relatives and friends.
Buck grew up as a farm boy in West Concord. He was the FFA president and enjoyed playing basketball. After high school, he enlisted in the Army on Feb. 4, 1969. He was an avid fisherman, skilled woodworker and smoker of specialty meats. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends, always sending you home with his latest tasty creation.
He leaves behind a legacy of loved ones who will miss his daily conversations, spunky attitude, sense of humor and countless fishing stories.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Minneapolis VA Health Care System on behalf of Richard Buck. Due to COVID-19 precautions, a celebration of Buck’s life is planned for next summer.
