Leslie R. “Les” Head, 76, Kasson

Leslie Ray Head, 76, of Kasson died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. 
Les was born Jan. 4, 1944 in Rochester  to Howard and Josephine (Cady) Head.
On Nov. 3, 1963 he married Janet H. Schroeder in Kasson. The couple first lived on a small farm outside of Dodge Center until moving into town and then in 1999 when they moved to Kasson. He worked as a Union Operator for the local 49er’s for 23 years until retiring to work for the Dodge Country Club.
He enjoyed nothing more than driving around town passed all of his families homes, spending all day at the golf course, playing cards, watching old-time western movies, every football game or NASCAR races. 
Les is survived by his beloved wife, daughter Bridget Head of Kasson, son Mark (Gina) Head of Dodge Center; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters-in-law. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
The Remembrance Gathering will be held from 1- 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 at Dodge Country Club in Dodge Center. 
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
