K-M cross country teams run well in triangular

Both Kasson-Mantorville cross country teams ran very well in the cold temperatures last week. The rain held off so the kids could run without getting wet. 
The KoMet Girls were led by senior Tiana Wiebke in a time of 21:23. The KoMet Boys were led by freshmen Gryffon Funke in 18:37. 
Other standout races were Patrick Trihey in the boys varsity race running 19:49 which was a personal best by one minute. Katelyn Corteau also ran a personal best by over a minute, clocking a 23:42.
The girls varsity race was won by Anna Peikert of Rochester Lourdes in a time of 21:00. The boys varsity race was won by Kevin Turlington of Rochester Lourdes in a time of 16:54.
