It’s Fiesta time at Vandal’s
Brady Holmberg took one for the team at Vandal's Family Market.
Holmberg is a co-owner of Vandal's with his wife Brandi and brother-in-law Waco.
Holmberg was perched atop a dunk tank, a way for him to stay cool on Vandal's special anniversary day. The anniversary day carried the theme of "5th Anniversary Sale and Fiesta."
Temperatures were beautiful, just budging over the 80-degree mark. The sun was also shining on this special day for Vandal's with no rain in sight.
The menu was Mexican style with tacos, walking tacos and corn. The corn was called Mexican Street Corn. It was brandished with parmesan cheese and cilantro.
Oh yah, for dessert, root beer floats were offered to represent the American brand.
The Bounce House was available for the kids, and maybe for some adults who think they are still kids.
Juan Villarreal Ramon was the artist in residence, manning the face painting table. Juan loves art work. Just check out the mural on the wall coming into Vandal's. The colorful artwork was done by Juan.
Many sale specials were offered and visitors were encouraged to sign up for prizes. Another hit of the day were fresh peaches in the crate.
"We just couldn't be happier with the turnout of loyal customers," remarked Brandi Vandal-Holmberg. "Our customers are number one," added Brady. "I was the corn man on this special day," said Waco.
