The life of a Red Sox fan

I have a secret, readers.
I'm a Red Sox fan.
Growing up just less than an hour south of Boston meant that I got to attend some games at the beautiful and historic Fenway Park.
If you haven’t been there before and you like baseball you should add it to your bucket list of fields to go to.
I been to a lot of different stadiums, including Target Field, but without a doubt Fenway Park is my favorite.
As a Redsox fan, I feel fortunate that I grew up during one of the best times to be a fan.
Not only did we have some of the best talent to watch while I was growing up we also had multiple World Series Championships.
That’s not the case for all Sox fans though.
For some they went their whole lives without seeing the team win it all.
I remember when I was younger in 2004 right when we won the first of many World Series since I was born and I was at my uncles sports merchandise shop.
I would always go there and visit with my uncle and would watch reruns of games with him and “help” him with his store.
On this occasion I remember being there with my dad and the 8 or 9 year old I was said something on the lines of “I never thought I would see the Red Sox win a World Series in my lifetime.” I remember my dad and uncle laughing about this and as I look back on it I laugh too.
Since I have been walking on earth we have won three World Series, and I am hoping that we will win more.
The Red Sox are against some competition against the Dodgers this year, but I believe we have the best team in baseball and we can beat them.
Let’s hope that the Red Sox win it all this year.
