K-M School to present “Beauty and The Beast”

Last spring members of the KM Drama Team went to GREAT Theater in St. Cloud to see a musical and they quickly realized that they have the talent to put on a performance like that themselves. 
That realization combined with a very successful performance of “Little Mermaid” last fall they decided to take on “Beauty and The Beast” this fall. 
The musical which will feature sixty cast members and thirty backstage crew members from grades 3-12 will take place November 1-11. 
The performance will be the third all school musical that will take place in the new Minnesota WIFI Performance Art Center since the new auditorium was built. 
The cast and crew hopes to have success with attendance after selling out the 800 person theatre multiple times last year during their fall musical. 
During the Nov. 3 and Nov. 10 show there will be a special Pre Show Dinner with the cast. Tickets for the meal are $25 per adult and $15 per student. Tickets for the special dinner must be purchased by Oct. 26. 
There will also be a “Tea with Belle and Friends” event, which will take place on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. in the KMHS Gym. Tickets are $5 in advance at $8 at the door. 
Tickets for the performance for the shows and the dinner can be purchased on the school website or at the KMHS box office on Tuesday and Thursdays from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.
