BREAKING NEWS: SHERIFF’S OFFICE SEIZES LARGE MARIJUANA GROW

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has seized a large marijuana operation near Mantorville.
Sheriff Scott Rose said his investigators harvested 60 large marijuana plants from an illegal grow located in the DNR Wildlife Management Land west of Mantorville on 617thStreet and 220thAvenue.
According to Rose, investigators had been monitoring the grow throughout the summer collecting information on the operation. They decided to remove the plants, equipment and their trail camera on Thursday and move forward with the case.
Rose said he is willing to give those involved an opportunity to help themselves out. “We strongly encourage anyone who believes they may have been videotapes at that grow site to come forward to talk to investigators about this incident,” the sheriff said. “More consideration will certainly be given to those who choose to be honest about it and come forward first.”
No further information is available at this time, Rose said.
