BREAKING NEWS: JUVENILE ARRESTED AFTER MAKING THREATS ABOUT TRITON SCHOOL
Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose said Saturday night that a student from Triton School has been arrested and transported to a juvenile holding facility in Rochester after allegedly making threats regarding the school.
Triton School officials received information about 10:45 a.m. Saturday indicating a Triton student had allegedly posted threats online. The information received indicated the student had posted on social media warning other students not to come to school on Monday.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office became involved and located the student around 12:45 p.m. Rose said the student admitted to posting the threat, but indicated it was not a serious threat. After interviewing the student, investigators felt confident that the student acted alone with the threat.
The student will make a court appearance Monday morning with charges to be determined by the Dodge County Attorney’s Office.
Rose said there is no safety threat to the school at this time.
