NEWS UPDATE: High risk sex offender moving to Hayfield

A Level 3 sex offender is moving to Hayfield beginning tomorrow.
According to Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose, Kevin Tyrone Williams is moving into the area. Rose said Williams has served his sentence and is now transitioning into the community.
Williams has a history of sexual contact with adult women. He has used a weapon, force and threats to gain compliance from his victims. He has also broken into a residence to gain access, and he was known to the victims.
The case Williams most recently served time for originated in Olmsted County.
A community notification meeting has been set for 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st St. SE in Hayfield. Representatives from the Department of Corrections and the sheriff’s office will be available to provide useful information on public safety.
Level 3 offenders are considered the most likely to reoffend.
The DCI will have more on this story in next week’s print edition.
