‘What’s not to like’?

Six to 12 inches of heavy, wet snow fell atop ice in southeast Minnesota from late Sunday through late Monday, and Tim Steffl was in his element.
The Minnesota WiFi field representative from Mantorville was shoveling his walk outside the downtown Kasson business for the fifth time late Monday afternoon, to ensure the snow didn’t build up.
Steffl was among many shovelers and snow-plowers out in force on a day in which schools were canceled and some businesses sent their employees home early.
“I love it,” he said. “What’s not to like? It’s Minnesota. Not surprising at all.”
A winter storm watch issued Sunday included Dodge, Olmsted, Steele, Goodhue, Freeborn, Rice, Mower, Fillmore, Winona and Wabasha counties.
The weather was expected to improve for the rest of the week. 
The forecast calls for mostly cloudy Wednesday with a high temperature of 26 and a low of 17; partly cloudy on Thursday with a high of 35 and a low of 30; mostly sunny and windy on Friday with a high of 39 and a low of 23; sunny on Saturday with a high of 30 and a low of 9; and partly cloudy on Sunday with a high of 15 and a low of 1, according to weather.com.
