Huskies send young blood to state

The Huskies are sending six individual wrestlers to state. Two of them are sophomores and one is a freshman. Peyton Robb, Taonner Cole and Brandon Moen each advanced to state over the weekend. Cole and Moen both claimed weight championships, and freshman Robb took true second. 
Huskies’ Coach Cliff Casteel is proud of the young blood on the team. 
“What makes these three stand out is the fact that they out-work all of the competition,” said Casteel. “They possess an outstanding internal drive that motivates them to succeed at a very high level.”
In reference to Robb, Casteel boasted of the freshman’s strength, quickness and agility, adding, “Peyton has an outstanding work ethic and trains with purpose.”
Casteel referred to Cole as a “warrior,” bringing incredible toughness and a desire to succeed. “He’s tenacious,” said Casteel. “He will not quit until the match is over.”
Moen holds the reputation for hardest worker, putting in an effort above and beyond.
“When most athletes are exhausted and on the edge of breaking, Brandon is just getting started,” said Casteel. “He believes he can beat anyone at anytime and expects it to happen.”
Casteel added that talent aside; the three have also received exceptional support outside of their teammates. 
“From a young age, they have had incredible parental support in their efforts,” said Casteel. “This support and continuous development over the years has created quite a separation between themselves and their same-age peers.”
Casteel hopes to see each of these young men become future leaders on the team. 
“They have so much to offer in their approach to training and what it takes to succeed,” said Casteel. “It would ashame if they didn’t share it with others.”
