James Lyndon Stehley, 69, Wisconsin

James Lyndon Stehley, 69, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017. He was a beloved father, brother, husband and friend.
He was born to a Minnesota railroad family Aug. 20, 1947 and spent his youth exploring woods, fishing and nurturing his love for the natural world, which he passed along to all those who surrounded him. He became a pharmacist and worked for 20 years at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. 
After retiring, Stehley spent his time with his family, church, gardening, cycling and spending time on the water. He is survived by his three children, Jennifer Stehley (David, Ethan Stehley, and Zach Stehley (Brooke); their mother, Gloria Stehley; grandson, Albert James Stehley; and sisters, Pam Pappas (Walt), Michelle Buss and Kim Harwood (Russ). He was preceded in death by his parents, Russ and Evelyn Stehley; brother Jon Stehley; and grandson, Cameron Maxwell Stehley.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Arbor Covenant Church in Madison, Wis., with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
