Roy A. Brown, 85, Kasson

Roy A. Brown, 85, of Kasson died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 in Rochester, Minnesota.
He was born Feb. 3, 1931 to Arnold and Edna (Stellmaker) Brown of Rochester.
He graduated from high school, and met and married Doris Helen Buck on August 19, 1950.
Roy served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was employed with IBM until his retirement in 1986.
Roy and Doris were blessed with eight children; Tonja Brown Parker (Ken), David, Deb Kunz (Dale), Tanae McMurchie (Steve), Tammy Houston (Bruce), Robert, Roy (Kim), and Greg (Yvette).
He enjoyed raising pigeons and meeting with others who did so. 
Roy is survived by Doris, his wife of 66 years, their eight children, three brothers: Maurice, Milo, and Neil, and one sister, Iona Eubank, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
A memorial service was held in the chapel at Prairie Meadows in Kasson, Minnesota. We will miss him the rest of our lives.
