ORDINANCE #862 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 30.032(A) OF THE CITY OF KASSON CODE OF ORDINANCES

Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Kasson as follows:
 
That Section 30.032(A) of the Kasson Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read:
The Planning Commission, at the first regular meeting of the calendar year, shall elect its own Chairperson from among its members.  The Commission may create and fill such other offices as it may determine.  A city employee designated by the Mayor with Council approval, shall act as secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission, but he or she shall not be a member unless he or she is appointed by the Council as its Commission member representative as provided in §30.031. 
Effective date.  This ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its publication.
