Donald Wayne Meyer, 89, Mantorville, MN

Donald Wayne Meyer, 89, of Mantorville, MN passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.

Donald was born on October 19, 1936, in Jordan Township, MN to Elmer and Caroline (Finley) Meyer. He graduated from Chatfield high school. He married Kay Frances Wahlberg on May 16, 1970.

Donald worked at IBM in Rochester, MN until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and woodworking.

Donald is survived by his wife, Kay Meyer of Mantorville, MN; children, Brian Meyer of Sand Springs, OK, Brad Meyer of Miami, OK, and Brenda Meyer of Springfield, MO; stepchildren, Dean McManimon of MN and Sue Rahrmann of Byron, MN; sisters, Sandra Diericks of MN and Joanne Nevling of Rochester, MN; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Caroline Meyer; sister, Donna Hien; and brother, Randy Meyer.

A private family burial will take at a later date in Chatfield Cemetery in Chatfield, MN.
