Carol Jean (Bybee) Sash , 67, Hayfield

Carol was born on August 10, 1948, at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin, Minn., the only child of William and Leona (Hanson) Bybee.  She grew up in Fairmont, Minn., Charles City, Iowa, and Hayfield, Minn. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was baptized and confirmed. Carol graduated from Hayfield Community Schools in 1966, and she then attended Mankato Commercial College.  
She was employed at several places.  Carol was a typist at Ace World Wide Moving and Storage in Rochester, Universal Films in Minneapolis, Lohn’s Grocery, Hayfield Herald and Fairview Nursing Home in Dodge Center. Carol loved country music, movies and game shows on TV, visiting with her family and friends, eating at Uncle Mony’s with friends and cross-country traveling. Her happiest years were when her cousin, Roy King came to live with her. 
Carol is survived by her special cousin, Roy King, Hayfield, Minn.; three aunts, Mrs. Glenn Bakke, Austin, Minn.; Mrs. Arlene Bjornson, Hayfield, Minn.; Mrs. Isabel Haase, Clearbrook, Minn.; and several  cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Carol will be missed by Roy and her family and they cherish their memories of her in their hearts.
Family and friends are welcome to the graveside service for Carol Jean Sash at 1:30  p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating.  There will be lunch and fellowship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE in Hayfield after the graveside service.
Carol Jean Sash, 67, passed away peacefully at Field Crest Care Center on Sunday morning, July 24, 2016, with Roy King and Arlene Bjornson at her bedside.
