NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT HEARING

 
 
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Claremont, Minnesota, will meet in Claremont City Hall on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. to consider making the City’s 2016 Street Improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 429.011 to 429.111.  The estimated cost of this project is $190,000.  The proposed areas to be assessed for such improvement are lots abutting the following streets:
 
•West 3rd Street from Wheat Street to Dodge County 1
•Wheat Street from 2nd Street to Front Street
•Church Street from East Street to Julia Street
•McKinley Street from Church Street to Front Street
•Elm Street from Front Street to alley (1/2 block)
 
A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing.  All persons desiring to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.  Written comments must be received by 3:00 p.m. on July 12, 2016.  Comments can be sent to Claremont City Hall, P.O.
