New business can help with ‘handyman’ projects
Those projects always turn up. The times when a person needs help with a home project but it is not quite big enough for a large construction company.
A new business operating out of Claremont is attempting to meet those needs. Chet and Tanya Bond have recently started Projects Unlimited LLC and are currently working in both Dodge and Steele Counties.
“The name says it all,” says Chet Bond. “We’re currently doing a basement finish in Kasson.” They have done other projects ranging from building a pergola in Owatonna, replacing rotten floorboards in a bathroom and doing some interior painting.
Projects Unlimited is a family business, he said, with Bond and his wife Tanya being the two who do the work.
The Bond’s came to their new business gradually.
Bond is a former Marine with a college degree in accounting. Tanya, he said, has always been artistic and has done work in interior design.
She is a graduate of Kasson-Mantorville High School and the two married in California while Bond was still in the Marines. They moved to West Virginia, where Bond grew up, and he completed college there before relocating to Minnesota.
