Dust Control: Liquid chloride to decrease dust will be available this
year for $215 per measured 500 ft any additional feet will be $0.42per
lineal ft. All chloride must be paid for by May 13, 2016 or it will not be
applied.
Residential Road Rock: Road rock will be offered to residents for
their own use at $16.75 per cubic yard, plus tax, (minimum order of a 12
yard load) delivered. Call Tammy @ Stussy 507-635-3441 to purchase
road rock. Stussy will bill the resident.

Township Right of Way: 33 ft from the centerline of a township road
is considered the right of way. It is a misdemeanor to, plow, tile, plant, or
erect a fence within the right of way (MN Statute 160.2715). If there are
any obstacles, such as rocks deposited, fences erected, or crops planted
in the right of way, the township will remove these obstacles and charge
the landowner for the removal expense. (Ellington Township Zoning Ordinance,
Article VII, paragraph d)
Dirt on or Damage to Township Roads: It has been declared a public
nuisance to interfere with, obstruct, or render dangerous for passage a
public road (MN Statute 609.74(2)). Any persons found responsible for
the above mentioned activities, including but not limited to depositing
dirt or damaging the road will be liable for any costs the Township may
incur to return the road to its original condition.
