Triton choirs perform at Solo and Ensemble contest in Austin

Members of the Triton High School choirs took part in the Solo and Ensemble contest at Riverland Community College in Austin last week.
Thirteen vocal events received a superior rating, which means they scored at least 35 points or higher out of a possible 40 points, said Choir Director Craig Anderson. Each judge was also able to select one event from the entire day that they felt was the best event performed.   One Triton duet, Max Henderson and Haley Yankowiak, received the “Best in Site” award for the site where they performed. 
Receiving Superior ratings were: 
Solos - Rhylan Peterson, Dani Utecht, Kyrielle Peterson and Colton Smisek.
Duets - Olivia Anderson and Caitlyn Sowieja, Mikayla Courteau and Dani Utech, Rhylan Peterson and Kyrielle Peterson, Mikayla Courteau and Martha Moenning, Haley Yankowiak and Max Henderson, Natalie Donner and Sasha Jensen.
