TRITON ISD NO. 2125 – SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES
STUDY SESSION
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2016
TRITON HIGH SCHOOL

-Meeting Proceedings-
Chair Henslin called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.  Those members present: Jon Streiff, Bryce Kleinwort, Lloyd Henslin, Jr., Dale Jensen, Melissa Kubat, Chad Johnson and Tracy Petersohn; absent: none.  Also present: Superintendent Brett Joyce, Principal Craig Schlichting, Principal Mark Raymond, Principal Nancy Stucky, Deb Meeker, Bruce Huber, Don Henderson and Karen Jorgenson.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
The Board discussed many items including: • Operating levy
• Facilities committee will meet March 2nd at 6:00 p.m. to look at data collected from UNESCO.
• Facilities:
•Changing light switches in both gyms
•Change fire pull in elementary gym
•Energy audit control level
•Nurse’s office – more privacy, security and centrally located
• Future staff development days
• Balanced calendars
• Staffing
• Software for student management
• Pre-K and working with daycare providers
• Soccer
• Emergency/threat communication
• Senior project and PSEO students
• Other
•Ice cream machine
•Board meeting length and keeping meetings on track
Jensen/Kleinwort motioned to adjourn the meeting 8:55 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
