Pine Island Winter Fest set for Jan. 30

 
Chilly, snowy days and the beautiful winter wonderland that surrounds us offer different ways to play and enjoy the out of doors. 
Pine Islanders will celebrate the season Saturday, Jan. 30 with a third annual “Winter Fest”. 
The festivities include luminary-lit ski and snowshoe trails, bonfires, ice skating, storytelling, a free family movie, a winter environmental class and a chili and soup feed!

Community organizations are sponsoring the following events:
 
10 a.m- Noon- Free kids and adult winter activity
11 a.m.-9 p.m.-Open skate
11 a.m.-1 p.m. Pizza party 
11:30 a.m. Storyteller
Noon-1:30 p.m.- Children’s art activity
12:45 p.m. Storyteller
1:30-3:30 p.m.- Free family movie & snacks
5-8 p.m.- Chili/soup feed & bonfire
5-8 p.m. Free Stephen King Book
5-8 p.m. luminary-lit ski/snowshoe trails
All day groomed ski and snowshoe/hiking trails. 
Afternoon- Eagle Bluff winter survival class (Time TBD)
