Class for caregivers planned at Prairie Meadows

Elder Network and Prairie Meadows in Kasson are partnering on a class for caregivers held at Prairie Meadows on Tuesdays, 6 — 7:30 p.m., March 11 — April 15. The class will help caregivers make tough caregiving decisions, communicate more effectively, reduce stress, and other tools in caring for older friends and relatives. The cost is $60, and registration is required by March 4. For more information call 507-285-5272.
There is also a group respite program for those receiving care that meets at the Burger King in Kasson on Thursdays (with the exception of the third Thursday) from 1 to 3 p.m. to play games or just socialize with others.
