Wildcats fall to Minnesota River

The Dodge County Wildcats boys hockey team started its season 0-1 after falling to Minnesota River in a road matchup last week.
Minnesota River would score a goal early in the first period and then would score early again in the final period to take a 2-0 lead.
The Wildcats would make a comeback however, with Camryn Koch and Griffin Gibbs both scoring goals for the Wildcats.
With less than 10 minutes in the game Minnesota River would score to pick up the 3-2 victory over the Wildcats.
For the Wildcats Brett Ludvigsen finished the game with 2 assists, while Mason VanBenschoten stopped 30/33 shots behind the net in the loss.
