Another successful year for Care & Share
It was another successful dinner and auction for Kasson-Mantorville Care & Share last Thursday night, this time in a new location.
In the past the event has been held at Kasson-Mantorville High School but this year it moved to Kasson’s new Fire Station.
The dinner and auction is the annual fundraising event for the organization. It raises funds to support Care & Share’s mission of helping those community families and individuals in need.
This year’s event featured a Taco Bar dinner catered by Hidden Pines Bar & Grill in Mantorville. Desserts were also available from Rise Above Baking Co. as well as the silent and live auctions.
Care & Share raises funds for families in need in the Kasson and Mantorville communities. It also financially supports a variety of programs including Dodge County’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library, SEMCAC Food Shelf, Ready, Set, Learn, Faith in Action, Food for Friends, A Place at the Table at St. Peter’s Church, K-M Schools Challenge Fund and the Salvation Army Hardship Grant.
Care & Share Giving Trees are also located at Hardware Hank in Kasson and County Seat Coffee House in Mantorville.
Individuals and families are invited to pick up a tag from one of the trees to provide gifts for a child in the community this holiday season.
Return the unwrapped purchases with gift tag to either of the Giving Tree locations by Tuesday, December 10.
Final totals for the amount raised at the event were not available at press time.
