Mary Ayshford designs Christmas cookie tin

A reception at the Mantorville Art Guild last Saturday officially recognized Mary Ayshford as the winner of the competition for the design on the 2024 Mantorville Christmas cookie tin. The cookie tin promotion is sponsored by the Mantorville Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the annual Olde Fashioned Christmas in Mantorville. Each year the Mantorville Art Guild collaborates with the Chamber of Commerce to choose a winner for the cookie tin design. Area artists and photographers submit their designs highlighting a Mantorville landmark. All designs submitted depict a Mantorville landmark.
Ayshford won the competition for the second time, after designing the 2022 tin. Her design this year features the Log House.
This year’s Olde Fashioned Christmas is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7.
Empty tins can be purchased now for a $20 donation to the Mantorville Chamber. Then, you can fill that beautiful tin on Dec. 7, during Olde Fashioned Christmas in Mantorville. Stop at participating businesses and receive a tasty, wrapped cookie.
Cookie tins can be purchased now at Mantorville businesses including County Seat Coffeehouse, Creative Change Salon & Boutique, Hubbell House, Chocolate Shoppe, Hidden Pines (Zumbro Valley Golf Course), Mantorville Square Antiques, Finds on Fifth, Mantorville Art Guild, and Thrivent.
Unique each year, the cookie tins become collectibles. So, after the cookies are gone you will still have a Mantorville keepsake.
