Triton girls soccer defeated by Mankato Loyola

The Triton girls soccer team fell to Mankato Loyola on the road last week 2-1.
Triton took the lead early with a 1-0 lead going into halftime after Romina Medina scored her third goal of the season.
The Cobras were able to hold the lead until approximately seven minutes left in the game, when Loyola tied the game.
“That goal ended a streak of about 210 minutes we played over 3 games without surrendering a goal,” Head Coach Jeremy Himli, wrote in an email after the game.
With under two minutes left Loyola would score to win it.
Goalkeeper Alyssa Knudson would finish the game with 13 saves.
