6 juvenile males reportedly break into the Smoke Shop in Kasson

Six juvenile males reportedly broke into the Smoke Shop in Kasson on Aug. 22.
At about 4:30 a.m., Kasson police were dispatched to the store, located at 301 South Mantorville Ave., Suite 800, upon a report of a burglary. When officers arrived they found the windows had been smashed and merchandise had been stolen from the store.
Security camera footage showed six suspects arriving in a silver vehicle and using rocks to smash the front door glass. Once inside the building the suspects broke open display cases and filled backpacks with merchandise.
During the investigation, Kasson police officers discovered the vehicle used in the burglary was stolen from Rochester. Rochester police recovered the vehicle and found merchandise from the Smoke Shop burglary still within it.
The investigation is still ongoing, said Kasson Police Chief Joshua Hanson. The suspects have been identified as six juvenile males. No other information is available at this time.
