Fairview, Field Crest receive state emergency funding
Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center and Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield are among are among facilities to receive funds from the second round of emergency aid to nursing homes, State Sen. Carla Nelson said recently. This funding is part of the bipartisan $300 million package passed by the Minnesota legislature in 2023 to address the crisis facing nursing homes across the state.
“It is fantastic that this second round of funding is being distributed to the facilities that are in desperate need of resources,” she said. “Nursing homes and long-term care facilities are facing a dire crisis and have been for years. This second round of funding will help a lot of nursing homes stay afloat.”
