Weather delays reopening of Hwy 57 Mantorville bridge

Ongoing rainy weather has slowed progress to complete the storm and sanitary sewer installation at Fourth Street north of the Hwy 57 Mantorville bridge.
We'll alert you as soon as crews can complete the work and prepare the road to safely reopen to traffic into town from the south end. Thanks for your patience.
Sixth Street will remain closed as our construction work continues. Fifth, Seventh and Ninth Streets are open, but if rain creates challenging conditions or other work shifts, watch for barricades that indicate a closure. Typically, you can find another crossing of Hwy 57/Main Street on the next block or two.
Crews are hustling to complete the work safely. You can do your part to stay out of the work zone areas and to be alert and follow the posted speed limits.
