Property taxes due May 15

Property owners are reminded that the 1st Half Real Estate Taxes and 1st Half Agricultural Land Taxes are due by May 15. The payment stub for the first half or a full payment can be found at the bottom of the tax statement. The payment for the second half of the taxes is directly above.
In Dodge County payments can be made by mail, drop box, in-person, or online.
Payments sent by mail must be postmarked on or before the due date to avoid late penalties and must be in U.S. dollars by money order, cashier’s check or personal bank check. They should be made payable to Dodge County with the appropriate payment stub. Pre-addressed envelopes are enclosed with the tax statement. If the pre-addressed envelope is not available payments can be mailed to Dodge County Finance, 721 Main Street North, Dept. 45, Mantorville, MN 55955.
A drop box is located at the Government Services Building in Mantorville at the west facing main entrance doors. If you would like a receipt, write a note on the envelope indicating that on your envelope or an email address where a receipt can be sent electronically.
In person payments can be made at the Administration window on the main floor of the Government Services Building, Monday — Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Online tax payments can be made at http://dodgevisualgov.com. You need to provide your parcel identification number or address to go to the web page.
In Olmsted County checks or money orders for payment should be mailed to Olmsted County, Attn. Property Records and Licensing Office, 151 4th St. SE, Rochester, MN. 55904. Taxpayers are reminded it takes five to seven business days for the US Postal Service to deliver mail.
The county accepts payments by phone at 507-328-7635. Payments can be made with a credit card or e-check. The fee for the service is 3.28% for a credit card and $3.16% for an e-check. The fee for e-checks over $10,000 is $17.25.

In person payments can be made at the Government Center. Cash, checks, money orders, and credit/debit cards are accepted (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.) There is a 2.15% convenience fee for paying with a credit/debit card.
