Lady Wildcats win back-to-back games

KASSON — With just a handful of games remaining on the regular season schedule, the Dodge County hockey girls are perched at an impressive 17-3-0 mark overall. That’s because of two more recent victories by the Wildcats. On Friday, January 26, the girls shut-down Waconia, 5-1, and on Saturday, DC topped Moose Lake, 3-0.
(In her 70th career game, Maysie Koch, the Dodge County standout ninth-grader, hit the 100-point mark versus Waconia. For context, the only Dodge County player, according to the Post Bulletin, who reached 100 career points faster than Koch, was current Wildcats assistant coach Dana Rasmussen, who did it in just 53 games, collecting point No. 100 in the fifth game of her freshman season.)
