Charles (Chuck) Blood, 74, Arizona

On December 1st, 2023 Charles (Chuck) Blood passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Chino Valley, AZ. He was 74 years old.
Chuck is survived by many loved ones including his partner of 44 years Mary Gallagher, his step-children Natelie Blasius and Jessica Freerksen, grand children Hans Blasius and Tyller Freerksen, siblings Yoma Coleburn, Bonnie Sellars, Pat Sandeno and Bob Blood as well as good friends Hunter Welsch and Mark Miller.
Chuck was born on September 30th, 1949 and grew up in Mantorville, MN. He served in the Army in Vietnam from 1966-1969.
Chuck was a curated reader and loved the MN Twins, politics, his dogs, fishing, canoeing, John Prine’s music, Jim Beam and most of all Mary.
His final act was to donate his body to science. A celebration of his life will be held in the coming spring.
