What makes Christianity unique?

   Dears ago, the participants of a conference were debating what made Christianity unique. The participants debated back and forth. Just then C.S. Lewis came into the room and sat down. “What is everyone arguing about?” He asked. When he learned that they were debating the uniqueness of Christianity, he said: “Oh, that’s easy. It’s grace.”
What is Grace? It is the unearned, unearnable favor of God. If you have earned it, it is not grace.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
One person summed it up this way: Every other religion is spelled: DO. It’s about what you do to make your peace with God. I’ve got to do this… I’ve got to do that… Here is the problem: When do you know when you have done enough? What if we can’t do it enough?
Christianity is not spelled DO; It’s spelled DONE.
In other words, we are made right with God by putting our faith in What Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross. When we do this, we become a child of God, and we desire to obey God not earn his love, but because we love Him.
John 14:21,23
21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” 23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
