Nathan J Thomas, 30, Dundas, MN

Nathan J. Thomas, age 30 of Dundas, MN passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Nathan's fiance, Jessica Tietz, and two sons were in the vehicle and survived. Nathan, the son of Marcia Thompson and John Thomas, was born on July 3, 1993 in Northfield. Nathan grew up in Dundas and attended Northfield High School, graduating in 2011, where he participated in school sports. Following graduation, he attended North Dakota State University. He returned home where he began working at College City Beverage of Northfield. When younger he and his brother Travis helped their Grandpa Thompson with picking and sweet corn sales. Nathan met his fiance, Jessica while working at Kwik Trip during high school. They were reunited several years later and resumed their relationship. They have two beautiful sons, Jaxon and Zane and share a daughter, Aria Wunderlich. In his free time his priority was spending time with Jess and the kids. He liked to hunt, fish, camp, garden and smoke meats He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of the American Legion Post 149. Nathan is survived by his parents, Marcia Thompson, John (step-mom, Judy), Thomas, fiance Jessica Tietz, children, Jaxon Thomas, Zane Thomas and Aria Wunderlich. He is also survived by his brother Travis (Amy) Thomas, grandmothers Carol Ann Thompson and Mary Ann Thomas, mother-in-law Bobbie Tietz and brother-in-law Tyler (Kayla) Tietz. Step-brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rodney Thompson and Martin Thomas and father-in-law Duane Tietz. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd St. NW in Dodge Center.
