A Message from the Superintendent: Looking ahead to a strong 2026
As we approach the end of another year in Hayfield Community Schools, I want to take a moment to reflect on what makes this district such a remarkable place to learn, work, and grow. The holiday season naturally brings a spirit of gratitude, and as I look back on 2025 and ahead toward 2026, I am filled with appreciation for our students, staff, families, and community members who continue to support our mission in countless ways.
This past year, our schools have seen tremendous growth—academically, socially, and as a community. From the dedication of our teachers and support staff, to the excitement our students bring into classrooms, gyms, music rooms, and activities, Hayfield continues to shine as a district that values both excellence and connection. Whether it was cheering on our Vikings, celebrating classroom achievements, watching our performing arts students take the stage, or seeing our youngest learners master new skills, 2025 was filled with reminders of why this work matters.
As we prepare to enter 2026, I am optimistic and energized by what lies ahead. The coming year will bring new opportunities to strengthen our programs, support our staff, and ensure every student is prepared for success. We remain committed to fiscal responsibility, safe and supportive learning environments, and strong communication with families. Our staff continues to work hard to meet individual student needs, uphold high expectations, and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of education.
The new year will also bring challenges—and, as always, we will meet them together. Our community has a long tradition of coming together to support our schools, and that partnership is one of our greatest strengths. Whether through attending events, volunteering time, supporting our booster clubs and 203 Foundation, or simply encouraging our students along the way, your involvement makes a difference every single day.
As Christmas has come and gone, I want to extend warm wishes to all our families. This season is a chance to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate what is most important. I hope you find time to enjoy family traditions, celebrate with loved ones, and create memories that carry joy well into the new year.
On behalf of Hayfield Community Schools, thank you for your continued support. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in 2026. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and—as always—Go Vikings!
