Kasson-Mantorville Schools to conduct community survey

The Kasson-Mantorville School District invites families and community members to share their input through an upcoming survey regarding a potential operating levy to provide needed funding to support school operations.
The survey is for informational purposes only and will help guide future decisions by the School Board.
A postcard with survey details will be mailed to all district households the week of May 3.
District leaders say they are grateful for the continued support from the community, including donations, volunteer efforts and partnerships that help provide strong educational opportunities for students.
However, like many districts across Minnesota, Kasson-Mantorville is facing ongoing financial challenges. Unlike most districts, Kasson-Mantorville does not currently have an operating levy in place. School officials are seeking community feedback to better understand how to respond to these challenges and maintain the quality of educational programming.
Residents can complete the survey in one of three ways:
Online at komets.k12.mn.us or by visiting bit.ly/kass-man-survey
By scanning the QR code included on the mailed postcard
By requesting a paper copy by calling 507-634-1100, then mailing or dropping it off at Kasson-Mantorville Schools, 101 16th Street NE, Kasson, MN 55944
All responses must be submitted online or postmarked by May 29, 2026.
“This is an opportunity for all residents to have a voice in our planning process,” Superintendent Beth Giese said. “Our schools belong to our community and we have important decisions to make going forward and we want everyone involved.”
