Kasson comes up short with losses to Owatonna, Austin
Kasson vs. Austin
Kasson Post 333 traveled to Austin Sunday evening and came away with a 10-4 loss.
Kasson started out the scoring after Noah Swarts was hit by a pitch and later scored on an Austin error. Austin responded though with two in the 1st, one in the 2nd, and 3 in the 4th to take a 6-1 lead. In the 4th Kasson was able to chip a little closer after Howie Head was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scoring Nick Larson.
However, the bases were left full, giving Austin the 6-2 lead through four. In the bottom of the 5th, Austin was able to plate four insurance runs on a couple Kasson errors. In the top of the 6th, Howie Head singled to plate Nick Larson and Gabe Swarts scored on an error by the second baseman.
That is all Kasson could muster as they went scoreless in the 7th to fall by a final score of 10-4.

Kasson vs. Owatonna
Kasson Post 333 fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-2 loss to Owatonna on last Friday night. Owatonna jumped on the board early by plating 10 runs over the first two innings. Kasson was able to respond with one of their own in the 2nd and 4th innings, highlighted by Spencer Anderson scoring on two separate passed balls.
Owatonna was able to plate two more runs in the top of the 5th to secure the 12-2 victory.
