Janice Isabella Olson, 79, Dodge Center

Janice Isabella Olson, 79, of Dodge Center, MN passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Lakeshore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.
Janice was born on September 2, 1946, in Winona to Jolly and Marie (Hintz) Munson. She attended and graduated from Winona High School and went onto Winona State College earning her teaching degree. Janice had one daughter, Marissa Marie Madson on August 4, 1974. She later met Lee Olson of Dodge Center and the couple married on April 28, 1985.
Jan is survived by her sister, Renee Brown of Winona; step-children, Pat (Lisa) Olson of Kasson, David (Tracy Mims) of Owatonna, Sharyl Olson Chicos of Spring Grove, Brenda (Duk) York of Rochester; daughter-in-law, Bobbi Jo Olson of Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, and a lot more grandchildren, step grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandy Tarras; husband, Lee Olson; stepson, Robert Olson; and daughter, Marissa Madson.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 25 South St SW in Dodge Center followed by a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
