Hayfield man accused of sexually abusing juvenile

A Hayfield man made his first appearance in Dodge County District Court Monday on charges of abusing a juvenile for almost a decade.
Jason Allen Krueth, 39, appeared before Judge Debra Groehler on six charges of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with a child and three charges of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct with a child.
He is being held in the Olmsted County Detention Center on $50,000 bond with conditions or $100,000 bond with no conditions.
According to court documents, Kasson Police began an investigation in August 2024 after a Dodge County juvenile told an adult that Krueth had sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions. The court documents said that the juvenile told authorities that the abuse began at age 5 or 6 and continued for eight tonine9 years.
The court documents also said that Krueth denied the accusations during a voluntary interview in late February 2025 with Kasson police.
Krueth’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
