Hayfield Legion Auxiliary observes American Education Week
Hayfield’s American Legion Auxiliary is observing American Education week November 18–22. Since 1921, the American Legion Auxiliary has promoted the idea of visiting our schools.
American Education week is not just for the active parents and educators; it is for everyone. Some citizens may not have visited their local schools since their own graduation from high school. Exercise your rights and responsibility in 2024 and visit the school of your choice.
Public schools are the backbone of our democracy, providing young people with the tools they need to maintain our nation’s precious values of freedom, civility, and equality. By providing young Americans with both practical skills and broader intellectual abilities, schools give them hope for a productive future.
As a token of appreciation, the Hayfield Legion Auxiliary served rolls and fruit to the entire school staff and transportation personnel and thanked them for all they do.
