Hayfield falls to JWP

The Hayfield/ Schaeffer Academy fell to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton in a 60-59 nail-biter last Friday night.
Hayfield/SA was off to a slow start trailing 10-1 before going on a run to take a 11 point lead into halftime.
Up as many as 14 points at one point, JWP made a comeback, to take the lead with 32 seconds left in the game.
“We again held a late lead against a good team but couldn’t finish them off. We have to find a way to execute down the stretch to win these tight games,” Head Coach Kasey Krekling said. “ I’m sure it will come as the chemistry is building between the players that have only been together now for four weeks.”
