Hayfield to celebrate 150 years

Hayfield is celebrating its 150th anniversary this month with a fun four-day event.
In honor of this extraordinary event, festivities are planned from June 23-26.
“Three years ago a committee was formed to honor and celebrate our town,” said Jen Hegna, one of the organizers of the celebration. “From the work of this committee, we have established an incredible line up of over 40 events that will be fun for all ages. These events include a teen dance, two street dances, a carnival, flea farmers market and craft sale, golf outings, athletic tournaments, car show and parade.”

“We would like to extend an invitation to our family, friends and neighbors to join us for this fun 4-day event,” Hegna said. “A celebration of 150 years only happens once in a lifetime. While the last couple of years have been challenging, we believe we are truly fortunate to have a Sesquicentennial and celebrate our community.”
