Grace Methodist bazaar Dec. 7

Grace Methodist Church in Kasson will host its 48th annual Jul Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 7, The event is sponsored by the Grace Methodist Church Women, said Louise Anderson, although all church members help in putting it on. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The bazaar features a cookie walk, bake sale, crafts, Santa’s Workshop, and Granny’s Attic.
The cookie walk, she said, has been a popular attraction for 24 years. It gives people a chance to get a variety of homemade Christmas for the holidays.
For those wanting something to eat, she said, they will be selling homemade chicken noodle soup. And this year, in a new twist, lefse, again homemade, will be available by the slice for those who want something to go with the soup. People actually start lining up for the soup early, she said.
At Santa’s Workshop there will also be cookies to decorate.
And of course, there will be a bake sale with a variety of selections, including rosettes.
And all are invited to come and browse the items available at Granny’s Attic. This year, Anderson said, all the proceeds from the attic will be directed to hurricane relief.
Grace Methodist Church is located at 801 5th Ave. NW in Kasson.
