Gearing Up for the Second Half of 2017
With the sixth month of the year ending this past week, we’re o cially halfway done with 2017.
You’re probably thinking, ‘Where has the time gone?’
If you’re like me, it may seem like you haven’t done anything noteworthy this year.
However, it’s important to remember and celebrate all achievements, no matter how small, that we’ve accomplished throughout the rst half of 2017.
For example, some of the things that I’ve done this year are: start this internship at the DCI, keep a part-time job, do well in an online class this summer, and enjoy every minute with my new girlfriend.
Remembering these highlights of the rst half of 2017 also motivates me to go after more achievements in the second half of the year.
It doesn’t even have to be something as big as nding a new job or relationship. Just nd time to do whatever you enjoy or want to improve at.
Even if it’s just doing an activity for ve minutes a day, that time adds up, and could help you reach a bigger achievement by the end of 2017.
I nd myself focusing on the following question when I think about what I want to accomplish during the rest of this year.
What sort of changes can I make now to help me reach more achievements from July to December?
Asking yourself that question could prevent you from reaching December and not having an answer to ‘Where has the time gone?’
