Epic snow depths highlight Triton’s 30th Wolf Ridge adventure

The epic snowstorm of
the 2020 Triton Wolf Ridge trip conveniently held off until we had safely ar- rived on the Ridge on dry roads. A beautiful 15 inch- es of snow fell from Friday night through Saturday, adding to the adventure.
The Cobras quickly discovered that 48 inches of snow on the ground was awesome, while also adding a level of chal- lenge to travel; without snowshoes, stepping off the trail meant that you were literally swimming through the snow!
Sixty-five Cobra fresh- men (along with 10 senior leaders and 16 chaperones) embraced their opportuni- ty to experience the long- standing Triton tradition at Wolf Ridge.
