Edward C. Louks, 63, Rochester

Ed passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
He served in the United States Navy for 13 years and in the Navy Reserves for two years. He was very proud to have served his country. He also worked at Walmart South for 27 years as a manager and later in the liquor store. He always had an amazing happy attitude that reflected onto co-workers and his customers.
He was loved by everyone.
Ed loved his family and was always happiest when spending time with them. He was a proud father of four boys: Adam, Drew, Shane and Kiba. His proudest and happiest moments were always with his boys.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou Blood; stepfather Bill Blood; father Darrell Louks.
Ed is survived by his children, Adam Louks, Drew (Haley) Louks, Shane Louks and Kiba Ludlow; siblings, Faye (Terry) Lascelles, Butch (Vickie) Blood, Dorothy (Steven) Gehling, Rick (Becky) Blood, Marcia (Bruce) Finseth and Curt (Sherry) Louks; his grandchildren, Harleigh, Mason and Malia and many nieces and nephews, as well as his best friend of 46 years Lisa Lau.
A service will be held on Monday, May 18 at 10 a.m. at Preston Veterans Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow after in Wykoff at Lisa’s home.
