Drug raid nets 19 pounds of meth, 5 arrests

A man and a woman from Dodge County with alleged connections to a Mexican drug cartel are facing serious drug charges after police took 19 pounds of methamphetamine off the streets.
Heriberto Hurquides Salazar, 21, and Alejandra Jasmin Ochoa, 22, both of Mantorville, have been charged in Dodge County District Court with first-degree drug sales and child endangerment. 
Judge Jodi Williamson set bail for Salazar at $1.5 million conditional only and Ochoa’s bail was set at $1 million unconditional and $500,000 with conditions. They remain locked up in the Steele County Jail.
