Dr. John B. Collins, Kasson

It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved family doctor who dedicated his life to the practice of medicine. Dr. John B. Collins passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, leaving behind his unwavering commitment to family medicine.
For over 30 years, Dr. Collins has served generations of families with compassion and integrity, often going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that patients feel heard, cared for, and valued.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Collins was an avid golfer, enjoyed snowmobiling, driving his luxury cars, and having a Black Label Johnny Walker for an evening cocktail. He treasured his wife, Heike, as his most precious asset.
Dr. John B. Collins is survived by his wife, Heike Brenner Collins; four children, Chad Collins, Ali Stewart, Cathy Collins, and Christi Collins; his brother, Bill Collins; and his sister, Joan Collins, as well as by his many patients and their families, whose lives were made better through his care.
A memorial service will be held on a later date to honor Dr. John B. Collins.
