Donald A. Heser, 94, Kasson

Donald Heser, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at his residence in Kasson, Minn. He was born and raised in Wolf Point, Montana. He married and lived in Oostburg, Wisconsin for a brief period before moving to Jackson, Minnesota.  
Donald worked first in the well drilling business and later as a refrigeration and appliance repairman until retirement in 1997. He was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, before moving to Kasson and becoming a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by two children, five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma, of 60 years, his parents, two brothers, four sisters and a great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held for Donald later this spring in Kasson. Burial will be in Jackson, with final arrangements made by Osterberg Funeral Home in Jackson. The family wishes to thank Prairie Meadows Senior Living and Mayo Hospice for their excellent care and support.
